Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study inclusion criteria will include patients who are candidates for elective laminectomy surgery, are conscious, able to complete the questionnaire, and have consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with known mental disorders, those receiving anti-anxiety or sedative medications, and those who are unwilling to continue cooperation for any reason will be excluded from the study.

“The effect of patient education on preoperative anxiety in laminectomy candidates”. Timepoint: Before the intervention (patient education via virtual reality) and the day after the intervention (patient education via virtual reality) One hour before the start of the laminectomy surgery.(Intervention refers to virtual reality training and laminectomy refers to surgery.). Method of measurement: Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI).
