Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Willingness to participate in the study (providing informed consent) Minimum literacy (ability to read and write) Ability to speak Persian Mothers whose child is admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on the first day of hospitalization
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The mother is the primary caregiver for another family member with an acute or chronic illness. The mother has an acute or chronic medical condition or a psychiatric disorder and is currently undergoing treatment (self-reported). The mother will not be continuously available as the child’s primary caregiver. Mothers whose child has a history of prior admission to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
