Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: 22 people receive mucoadhesive containing coriander extract. Intervention 2: Control group: Receive mucoadhesive without active ingredient (placebo).

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over 18 years of age without systemic disease who have had at least two recurrent episodes of aphthous stomatitis in the past year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with autoimmune diseases Users of immunosuppressive drugs Pregnant women Traumatic wounds from sharp teeth, broken restorations, orthodontic appliances, or partial dentures Recurrent genital ulcers Eye and vision problems such as; eye pain, blurred vision, redness Recurrent infections; Unusual skin lesions

MeasureTime frame
Wound size: Measure the size of the wound. Timepoint: Days 0/3/7/10. Method of measurement: Duration of healing: Record the day the ulcer completely disappears. The recurrence rate is also measured one month later. Oral health impact questionnaire on daily life.;Pain intensity: Measured with a scale Healing time. Timepoint: Days 0/3/7/10. Method of measurement: Pain intensity measured by Visual Analogue Scale.The recurrence rate is also measured one month later. Oral health impact questionnaire on daily life.
