Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: General good health with no known acute or chronic diseases Minimum of one year of regular exercise experience (particularly resistance training)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No smoking or alcohol consumption within the past three months No history of anabolic steroid use or similar pharmacological agents within the past six months

Changes in blood lactate concentration in response to resistance exercise under different supplementation conditions (creatine, caffeine, and placebo) and with or without the use of a training mask were measured from blood samples. Changes in serum testosterone levels in response to resistance exercise under different supplementation conditions and mask usage were determined. Changes in serum cortisol levels in response to resistance exercise under various intervention conditions were measured. The testosterone-to-cortisol ratio, as an indicator of anabolic–catabolic balance in response to resistance exercise and supplementation, was calculated based on serum concentrations of both hormones. The rating of perceived exertion (RPE) represented the subjective perception of exercise intensity immediately after resistance exercise, recorded by participants using the Borg Scale at the end of each training session.autorenewthumb_upthumb_down. Timepoint: In each of the three intervention phases (creatine, caffeine, and placebo), the primary variables—including blood lactate, testosterone, cortisol, the testosterone-to-cortisol ratio, and rating of perceived exertion (RPE)—are measured at two time points: before resistance exercise (Baseline) and immediately after resistance exercise (Post-exercise).autorenewthumb_upthumb_down. Method of measurement: Blood lactate concentration was determined using the BioReX kit and the Mindray BS-380 biochemistry analyzer. Serum levels of testosterone and cortisol were measured using Roche kits (UK) and the Zybio CLIA immunochemiluminescence analyzer (USA) based on the chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) method.autorenewthumb_upthumb_down.
