Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Post-CABG patients with at least 3 weeks elapsed since surgery Age between 35 and 75 years Receiving appropriate medical therapy Having stable hemodynamics According to the exercise test with the Modified Bruce protocol, maximum exercise capacity between 4 METs and 7 METs
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence of peripheral arterial disease Any contraindication to cardiac rehabilitation Neuromuscular or orthopedic problems preventing exercise Pulmonary diseases (e.g., asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc.) History of cardiac valve surgery or significant valvular heart disease Heart failure patients with reduced ejection fraction (EF < 40%)
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Maximal consumed oxygen volume. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study and after completing the cardiac rehabilitation sessions. Method of measurement: It is calculated by multiplying the speed by the duration of each session.;Exercise capacity. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study and after completing the cardiac rehabilitation sessions. Method of measurement: By comparing exercise capacity, calculated as the product of speed and session duration. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Effect of cardiac rehabilitation on increasing maximal exercise capacity. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study and after completing the cardiac rehabilitation sessions. Method of measurement: Maximal exercise capacity is measured through an exercise test.;Cardiac rehabilitation leads to an increase in Rate Pressure Product. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study and after completing the cardiac rehabilitation sessions. Method of measurement: It is calculated by multiplying heart rate (HR) by systolic blood pressure (SBP). | — |
