Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 60 years Ability to understand and communicate in Persian Ability to receive telephone calls during the study period Awareness of their cancer diagnosis for at least three weeks prior to enrollment Having received at least three planned cycles of chemotherapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Concurrent participation in other studies related to fatigue Use of psychoactive medications or receiving psychotherapy prescribed by a physician during the study period Presence of severe anemia, defined as hemoglobin level less than 9 g/dL Presence of malnutrition, defined as a body mass index (BMI) below 18 kg/m².

MeasureTime frame
Fatigue is defined as a sense of diminished physical, emotional, and cognitive energy that affects daily activities. Timepoint: Before the intervention and three months after completing the sessions. Method of measurement: The cancer related fatigue scale questionnaire is completed via telephone by the researcher, with each item rated on a 5-point Likert scale (0 = not at all to 4 = very much).;Depression is defined as a set of psychological and emotional symptoms including depressed mood, loss of interest or pleasure, and negative feelings. Timepoint: Before the intervention and three months after completing the sessions. Method of measurement: The Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale questionnaire is completed via telephone by the researcher, with each item rated on a 4-point Likert scale (0 = rarely or never to 3 = most of the time or always), and total scores range from 0 to 60.
