Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Having a marital counseling record. Experiencing marital conflicts. Minimum five years of marriage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Substance abuse addiction. Severe mental illness. History of divorce or separation. Use of psychiatric medications. Participation in another therapy.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Emotional self-regulation. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention began) and two months later (when the intervention ended). Method of measurement: Gross and John's Emotional Self-Regulation Questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Marital boredom. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention began) and two months later (when the intervention ended). Method of measurement: Marital boredom with Pines CBM scale.;Marital expectations. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention began) and two months later (when the intervention ended). Method of measurement: Marital expectations with a researcher-made questionnaire.
