Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Infants aged 60–150 days (3–5 months) Diagnosis of unilateral cleft lip and candidate for cleft lip repair surgery Written informed consent obtained from parents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bilateral cleft lip or associated cleft palate Lack of parental willingness or consent Infants requiring concurrent surgical or medical interventions Known systemic or genetic disorders

MeasureTime frame
The scar photographs at the third and sixth months after surgery will be evaluated by two independent plastic surgeons, blinded to the patient allocation, using the POSAS scale. Timepoint: At 3 month and 6 months after surgery. Method of measurement: The scar outcomes will be assessed using the POSAS (Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale). Photographs will be evaluated by two independent plastic surgeons blinded to the patient allocation.
