Intervention 1: Intervention group: 200 micrograms of dexmedetomidine diluted to 20 ml intraoperatively before closing the surgical site, which is injected into the patient around the celiac ganglion.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy surgery candidates BMI > 35 No non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug use over the past 2 weeks
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists class IV or V Sensitivity to dexmedetomidine
