Interventions

Intervention group: Participants use blue-control lenses. These lenses have a special coating to reduce transmission of short-wavelength blue light and are identical in appearance to antireflex lenses

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18–35 years Best-corrected visual acuity of 20/25 or better in each eye Normal color vision (assessed using Ishihara and D15 tests) Daily digital device use >3 hours Willingness to wear the assigned lenses during the study period Ability to understand and comply with study procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of ocular disease (e.g., cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration) Diabetes Unstable refraction in the last 2 years (change >0.25D) Previous ocular surgery (including refractive surgery) Current use of medications affecting visual function or sleep Systemic conditions influencing study outcomes Pregnancy or breastfeeding Color vision deficiency Sleep deprivation or any other condition deemed by the investigator as contraindication

MeasureTime frame
• Computer vision syndrome symptoms: Frequency and severity of signs such as eye dryness, blurred vision, and headache assessed by a standardized questionnaire.• Sleep quality: Evaluated using a validated sleep quality questionnaire.• Blinking rate: Number of blinks per minute measured during computer use.• Accommodative function: Range and speed of accommodative response assessed through optometric tests. Timepoint: Baseline (before intervention) After first lens period: one week After washout period:one week After second lens period:one week. Method of measurement: Computer vision syndrome symptoms: Assessed using the Computer Vision Syndrome Questionnaire.• Sleep quality: Evaluated with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire.• Blinking rate: Measured by direct counting of blinks per minute during computer use.• Accommodative function: Examined through optometric tests measuring the range and speed of accommodative response.
