Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 60 years and older Good general health (based on medical examinations and health questionnaires) Absence of major cognitive problems (as assessed by cognitive screening test) No experience in learning English (or very limited exposure) Informed consent to participate in thestudy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Withdrawal from participation in the study Emergence of serious cognitive problems during the study Irregular attendance in the English training program (in the intervention group) Development of a serious illness that may affect cognitive functioning
