Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Voluntary consent of subjects to participate in the research Obtaining a score of more than 8 on the Merman Ankle Instability Identification Questionnaire Minimum age range 20 – 30 years History of ankle sprain in the past 6 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participation in rehabilitation exercise programs in the past year History of injury to the lower extremities in the past 6 months History of surgery in the lower limb and ankle area having osteoporosis History of ankle fracture History of serious spinal injury and knee ligament/meniscus injury within the past year. Presence of visible musculoskeletal abnormalities in the lower extremities (such as genu varum, genu valgum, and ankle pronation) History of surgery on the spine or lower extremities

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Dynamic balance. Timepoint: The outcome measurement time frame will be conducted before the intervention and 8 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: The Y test will be used to assess dynamic equilibrium.;Static balance. Timepoint: The outcome measurement time frame will be conducted before the intervention and 8 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: The Flamingo test will be used to assess static balance.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Hip abductor muscle strength. Timepoint: The outcome measurement time frame will be conducted before the intervention and 8 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: A dynamometer will be used to assess the strength of the hip abductor muscles.;Lumbar pelvic stability. Timepoint: The outcome measurement time frame will be conducted before the intervention and 8 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: A pressure biofeedback device will be used to assess lumbopelvic stability.
