Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Hypothyroidism diagnosis confirmed by an endocrinologist Under treatment with oral thyroid hormone medication (levothyroxine tablets) Age 18 years and over Ability to read, write and use a mobile phone
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Alzheimer's disease, dementia Deafness Blindness History of thyroid malignancy and radioactive iodine treatment in the last three months

| Patients' knowledge score about hypothyroidism. Timepoint: Before and three months after completing the training course. Method of measurement: This variable is measured using a researcher-made 48-item hypothyroidism knowledge questionnaire. Each correct answer receives a score of 1, and incorrect answers or "don't know" receive a score of 0. The total score ranges from 0 to 48, with higher scores indicating better knowledge of the disease.;Health literacy score of patients. Timepoint: Before and three months after completing the training course. Method of measurement: This variable is assessed with the Health Literacy for Iranian Adults Short Form (HELIA-SF) questionnaire, which consists of 9 items. Responses are scored on a 5-point Likert scale (1=very difficult to 5=very easy) and a 5-point Likert scale (1=not at all to 5=always) and converted into a final score ranging from 0 to 100. A higher score indicates more favorable health literacy.;Disease-related performance and lifestyle score. Timepoint: Before and three months after completing the training course. Method of measurement: This variable is measured with a 27-question researcher-made questionnaire on functioning and lifestyle. Responses are scored on a 4-point Likert scale (0=never to 3=always), and the total score will range from 0 to 81. A higher score indicates a better lifestyle and functioning in disease management. | — |
