Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Nurses working in the surgical wards of Imam Reza Hospital, Mashhad Having at least six months of work experience in the surgical wards For the intervention group, participation in the training sessions of the delegation-communication program.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Incomplete questionnaires Unwillingness to continue participation during the study Job change or transfer to other hospital wards during the study period Medical leave, unpaid leave longer than one month, or retirement during the study period

Timepoint: The questionnaires on nurses’ attitude and readiness for delegation (Cornette & Bragadottir), missed nursing care (Missed Nursing Care), and staff perception of teamwork (T-TPQ) will be completed one month before the intervention (pre-test) and one month after the intervention (post-test). Method of measurement: In this study, the primary outcome variables are measured using standardized and validated questionnaires. Nurses' attitudes and preparedness for delegation are assessed by the Nurses’ Attitudes and Preparedness for Delegation Questionnaire by Curnsted and Bragadottir. Missed nursing care is measured using the Missed Nursing Care Questionnaire by Kalisch. Staff perception of teamwork is evaluated using the TeamSTEPPS Teamwork Perceptions Questionnaire. All questionnaires are used in full form and clearly named without abbreviations in all sections.	—
