Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male student athletes aged 20 to 28 yearsObtaining a moderate to severe score of social anxiety based on the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS)Willingness and providing written informed consent to participate in the studyNot receiving any concurrent psychological or pharmacological treatment during the study period

The primary outcomes are social anxiety, cognitive avoidance, and cognitive flexibility, and the study evaluates their changes following emotion-focused therapy. Timepoint: Outcomes were assessed at three time points: pre-test, post-test, and one-month follow-up. Method of measurement: Social anxiety was measured by the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS), cognitive avoidance by the Cognitive Avoidance Questionnaire (CAQ), and cognitive flexibility by the Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (CFI).
