Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All individuals complaining of Globus sensation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non-Persian speakers Lacking basic literacy skills (unable to read/write) Current or recent (within 3 weeks) upper respiratory tract infection Suspected laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPRD) based on laryngoscopy and Persian reflux symptom index (RSI) questionnaire Structural abnormalities in oral cavity, pharynx or larynx per speech therapist's evaluation and laryngoscopy Swallowing disorders indicated by Persian dysphagia handicap index (DHI), Northwestern test or EAT-10 History of esophageal motility disorders OR hypothyroidism (based on medical history)
