Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age = 50 years Diagnosis of moderate to severe cataract (based on LOCS III criteria) No history of ocular surgery or trauma No history of glaucoma or other chronic eye diseases Provision of written informed consent

MeasureTime frame
Mean intraocular pressure in four time points among patients undergoing general or local anesthesia. Timepoint: Before surgery (baseline), Five minutes after anesthesia initiation, At the end of surgery, Twenty-four hours after surgery. Method of measurement: Intraocular pressure measured using non-contact tonometer (model Nidek NT-530) at all specified time points.
