Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Conscious patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Age over 60 years. No history of asthma No history of allergy to flowers, perfumes, or herbal essential oils Not dependent on narcotics or alcohol Not requiring mechanical ventilation at the time of the study No visual or hearing impairments, cognitive or psychiatric disorders, or skin lesions on the face or head. No history of psychiatric medication use
