Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to the intensive care unit with a history of traumatic brain injury Requirement for endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation for a minimum duration of 24 hours Eligibility for dexamethasone administration was determined by the treating physician. Written informed consent was obtained from the patient or legal guardian before enrollment in the study.
