Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention Group One: This group consists of 12 participants who undergo a six-week intervention program with three sessions per week of scapular stabilization exercises. Each sessio
a 35-minute main exercise phase including isometric and isotonic exercises targeting the serratus anterior, middle and lower trapezius muscles, scapular protraction and retraction movements performed
and a 5-minute cool-down phase with light stretching exercises for the shoulder and neck muscles. All sessions are conducted under the supervision of a corrective exercise specialist who provides trai

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 18 to 30 years diagnosed with rounded shoulder posture Forward shoulder angle greater than 46 degrees Normal body mass index Full Range of Motion (ROM) of the Shoulder

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cervical fracture History of shoulder pathology Orthopedic, neurological, rheumatological, or systemic problems that can affect shoulder biomechanics (diagnosis by a specialist) Previous surgery on the upper limb Carpal tunnel syndrome History of physiotherapy treatment within the last 6 months Any impairment in general health that hinders the ability to perform exercises

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Shoulder muscle strength. Timepoint: The primary outcomes are measured at two time points: before the intervention (pre-test) and after the six-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: Shoulder muscle strength is measured using the Biodex isokinetic dynamometer at a specific range of motion and predetermined angular velocity.;Upper limb proprioception. Timepoint: The primary outcomes are measured at two time points: before the intervention (pre-test) and after the six-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: Shoulder proprioception is assessed by joint position sense testing using the Biodex isokinetic dynamometer under eyes-closed conditions.;Upper body performance score measured by the Upper Quarter Y-Balance Test. Timepoint: The primary outcomes are measured at two time points: before the intervention (pre-test) and after the six-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: The Upper Quarter Y-Balance Test is used to assess upper body performance.;The kyphosis angle of the shoulder region (rounded shoulder posture). Timepoint: The primary outcomes are measured at two time points: before the intervention (pre-test) and after the six-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: "Rounded shoulder posture was measured using lateral digital photography of the shoulder region. The kyphosis angle was then determined from the recorded images using specialized posture analysis software. This angle was considered as an indicator of the degree of rounding and curvature of the upper trunk.;Electromyographic activity of the serratus anterior muscle. Timepoint: The primary outcomes are measured at two time points: before the intervention (pre-test) and after the six-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: Forward head posture was recorded by lateral digital photography and its angle analyzed using specialized software.;The kyphosis angle of the back region. Timepoint: The kyphosis angle of the back region as a secondary outcome variable was measured at baseline (before the intervention) and at the end of the sixth week. Method of measurement: The kyphosis angle of the back region was measured using a flexible ruler. The ruler was placed on the back region, and the thoracic spine curvature angle was calculated using a direct goniometric method.
