Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Two months have elapsed since the couple initiated marital dissolution Low scores on the pre-tests of resilience and cognitive emotion regulation, and high scores on the pre-test of rumination. The couple has not received any psychological intervention to address their marital conflicts Obtaining consent to participate in the research

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unwillingness of one or both parties to participate in treatment Legally finalized divorce or physical separation prior to the stud Severe psychiatric disorders, e.g., psychosis, active substance abuse, or severe bipolar disorder Non-compliance with the study protocol, e.g., missing >2 pre-randomization sessions
