Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Shoulder proprioception in abduction and external rotation of the glenohumeral joint. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins (pre-test) and after completing the intervention (post-test). Method of measurement: Using an inclinometer at angles of 45, 80, and 135 degrees of abduction and 45 and 80 degrees of external rotation of the glenohumeral joint.;Scapular kinematics in 2D scapular upward rotation. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins (pre-test) and after completing the intervention (post-test). Method of measurement: By imaging during abduction at zero, 45, 90, 135 and maximum range of motion using Kinovia 2D analysis software.;Throwing performance parameters (throwing accuracy and distance and shoulder internal rotation range of motion). Timepoint: Before the intervention begins (pre-test) and after completing the intervention (post-test). Method of measurement: 1) Measuring throwing accuracy using the Functional throwing performance index (FTPI) test 2) Measuring throwing distance using the sited medicine ball throw (SMBT) test 3) Measuring the range of motion of shoulder internal rotation using a universal goniometer. | — |
