Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants must be aged between 5 and 7 years Poor Phonological Awareness Participants Must Score Less Than 40 Percent on at Least One Subtest of the Soleimani-Dastjerdi Phonological Awareness Assessment Package Which Includes Syllable Awareness Intra-Syllabic Awareness and Phonological Awareness Normal Oral Structure And Function Based On The Oral Mechanism Assessment From The Persian Version Of The Diagnostic Assessment Of Phonology And Phonetics P-DEAP Normal Hearing Based on Interviews with Parents and Medical Records Showing No More Than Three Colds in The Past Six Months No Concurrent Developmental Disorders Such As Cognitive or Language Disorders Based on Semi-Structured Parent Interviews Speech Sample Analysis and MLU Between 3 and 5 Words at the Developing Level Absence of Oral-Facial Anomalies or Genetic or Congenital Syndromes Based on Observation and Parent Interviews Participants Will Be Selected From the Speech Therapy Waiting List and Will Receive Supplementary Treatment During the Waiting Period Without Being Deprived of Necessary Services Children With Phonological Deficits Based on Diagnostic Screening and Phonological Tests From the Persian Version of the Diagnostic Assessment of Phonology and Phonetics P-DEAP Including Those With Phonological Delay or Consistent Phonological Disorder All Participants Must Be Monolingual and Speak Only Persian
