Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mother has a child with a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder Mother is 25-50 years old and the child is 3-12 years old Mother provides written informed consent to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Active participation in other psychological or psychiatric treatments within the last 6 months. Lack of willingness or inability to attend therapy sessions and complete questionnaires. Having a history of severe psychiatric disorders in the mother.

MeasureTime frame
Psychological capital. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at three time points: pre-test (before the start of the intervention), post-test (immediately after the intervention ends in the 8th week), and follow-up (two months after the intervention is completed). Method of measurement: The Luthans Psychological Capital Questionnaire, a 24-item scale, will be used to assess the four main components of psychological capital: self-efficacy, hope, optimism, and resilience.;Social competence. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at three time points: pre-test (before the start of the intervention), post-test (immediately after the intervention ends in the 8th week), and follow-up (two months after the intervention is completed). Method of measurement: The Social Competence Scale will be used to measure this variable. This questionnaire has 17 items that assess various aspects of social competence, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships and the capacity for self-expression in mothers. This self-report tool will be completed by the participants.;Cognitive regulation. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at three time points: pre-test (before the start of the intervention), post-test (immediately after the intervention ends in the 8th week), and follow-up (two months after the intervention is completed). Method of measurement: The Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire will be used to measure this variable. This questionnaire has 28 items that assess nine different cognitive emotion regulation strategies, including acceptance, positive refocusing, and planning. This self-report tool will be completed by the participants.;Cognitive avoidance. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at three time points: pre-test (before the start of the intervention), post-test (immediately after the intervention ends in the 8th week), and follow-up (two months after the intervention is completed).
