Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A wound on a limb (mostly the foot) of a known diabetic patient that has not decreased by 50% of its original size within one month Patients with diabetic foot ulcers were selected by the infectious disease specialist in grades 1 and 2 according to the Wagner classification
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Osteomyelitis Malignant arterial insufficiency Bone exposed to ulceration Wounds with Charcot deformity Medication with antiproliferative or hypertrophic drugs in the past 3 months Serum Hb less than 10 mg/dL Platelet count less than 103/µL and history ofGrowth factor therapy
