Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Unilateral, degenerative rotator cuff tendon tear confirmed by MRI MRI-confirmed retracted rotator cuff tendon tears Over 18 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Radiographic signs indicating advanced osteoarthritis changes or glenoid rim wear Rheumatoid arthritis diseases History of shoulder surgery or dislocation Proximal humerus fracture

MeasureTime frame
Upper limb disability. Timepoint: at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 1 and 3 months after surgery. Method of measurement: Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand questionnaire.;Upper limb pain. Timepoint: at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 1 and 3 months after surgery. Method of measurement: Visual Analog scale.
