Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cancer diagnosis by a cancer specialist (oncologist) The age range of patients is between 25and 40years. Patients must have the necessary physical ability to participate in sessions. Informed consent of patients and their willingness to participate in the research process Ability to answer questions within the level of literacy comprehension of texts and form questions Minimum secondary or high school education The control group did not receive any psychological treatment, and the experimental group did not receive any psychological treatment other than participating in the research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of severe psychiatric disorders Substance abuse Receiving ongoing psychological treatment at the time of enrollment Inability to regularly attend therapy sessions Severe cognitive or speech impairments preventing active participation in group sessions

Depression. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins and after the intervention ends. Method of measurement: Short Form Beck Depression Inventory.

Anxiety. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins and after the intervention ends. Method of measurement: Zung Depression Scale (20-item).;Psychological well-being. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins and after the intervention ends. Method of measurement: The 25-item Connor and Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC, 2003).;Resilience. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins and after the intervention ends. Method of measurement: The 18-item Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (1989).;Defense mechanisms. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins and after the intervention ends. Method of measurement: The 40-item Andrews Defense Style Questionnaire (DSQ-40, 1983).
