Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: At least 5 years of marriage have passed. Be literate. Willingness to cooperate and participate fully in couples therapy sessions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having mental disorders Taking psychiatric medications Having physical problems that interfere with the intervention process

Marital satisfaction, as a subjective evaluation, includes affective reactions that stem from the evaluation of sexual relationships in general and affects the individual's general health in various aspects. Timepoint: It takes two months before and after the study begins. Method of measurement: Hudson et al. Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire (1981; quoted from Talaei Zadeh et al., 2016).;Marital intimacy means a feeling of closeness, trust, respect, and deep emotional connection between spouses. Timepoint: It takes two months before and after the study begins. Method of measurement: Couple Intimacy Questionnaire, Bagarozi (2001).;Interpersonal forgiveness: Intimacy and forgiveness between couples explain a significant portion of the variance in marital commitment. Timepoint: It takes two months before and after the study begins. Method of measurement: Interpersonal Forgiveness Questionnaire (Ehteshamzadeh et al., 2010).
