Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Bachelors, Masters and PHD students Students of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Payam Noor, Islamic Azad University and non-profit institutions Students of Mashhad No substance abuse Having a mobile phone Having a score above the criterion on the Social Media Disorder Scale and cognitive-emotional indicators At least five symptoms of social media addiction by an expert Age range 18 to 40 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of a mental disorder or physical illness prior to study entry Participation in educational and treatment courses before entering the study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A score of less than 5 on the Social Media Disorder Scale. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 3 months after the start of the intervention, 6 months after the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: social media disorder scale.;Score below 108 difficulties in emotion regulation. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 3 months after the start of the intervention, 6 months after the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: difficulties in emotion regulation scale.;Score below 50 worry. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 3 months after the start of the intervention, 6 months after the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: penn state worry questionnaire.;Score below 25 cognitive fusion. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 3 months after the start of the intervention, 6 months after the end of the intervention. Method of measurement: cognitive fusion questionnaire.;Score below 25 repetitive thinking.
