Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain caused by muscle cramps. Timepoint: Measuring cramp-induced pain in dialysis patients before massage with peppermint oil or lavender oil/Measuring comfort cramp-induced pain in dialysis patients at the end of the first week after massage with peppermint oil or lavender oil End of the first and second week/Measurement cramp-induced pain in dialysis patients at the end of the second week after massage with peppermint oil or lavender oil. Method of measurement: Using the Visual Analogue.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comfort. Timepoint: Comfort measurement in dialysis patients before massage with peppermint or lavender oil/Comfort measurement in dialysis patients at the end of the first week after massage with peppermint or lavender oil/Comfort measurement in dialysis patients at the end of the second week after massage with peppermint or lavender oil. Method of measurement: Kolkaba questionnaire.;Systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Timepoint: Measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure in dialysis patients before massage with peppermint oil or lavender oil/Measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure in dialysis patients at the end of the first week after massage with peppermint oil or lavender oil/Measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure in dialysis patients at the end of the second week after massage with peppermint oil or lavender oil. Method of measurement: Using a Sphygmomanometer.;Breathing rate. Timepoint: Measuring the respiratory rate in dialysis patients before massage with peppermint or lavender oil/Measuring the respiratory rate in dialysis patients at the end of the first week after massage with peppermint or lavender oil/Measuring the respiratory rate in dialysis patients at the end of the second week after massage with peppermint or lavender oil. Method of measurement: Counting the number of breaths in one minute with a stopwatch.;Pulse count. Timepoint: Pulse rate measurement at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and at the end of the third session (end of the first week) and at the end of the sixth session (end of the second week).
