Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with a surgical treatment plan of laminectomy and posterolateral spinal fusion. Patients who underwent laminectomy of greater than or equal to 2 spaces with posterior fusion with pedicle screws (CD insertion) Patients aged at least 18 and up to 65 years old Patients referred to Dr. Shariati Hospital affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences between 1404 and 1405

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and OCP use Use of beta-blockers, calcium blockers, digoxin, tricyclic antidepressants, anticoagulants, clonidine, alcohol and drug abuse Abnormalities in tests/PTT/INR/PT Hematological and coagulation diseases, respiratory, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hepatic and renal failure History of any thrombotic events such as CVA/MI Patients who received Packed Cell prior to surgery CPR history Tumor in the surgical site

MeasureTime frame
Bleeding volume in cc. Timepoint: 6 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours post surgery. Method of measurement: Hemovac drain.
