Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants must have at least one previous suicide attempt, be literate (able to read and write), be at least 18 years old, not use drugs or addictive substances, not participate in other educational or psychotherapy sessions, provide written informed consent, and score below the mean on the relevant questionnaires

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of a history of suicide, age under 18 years, illiteracy, substance abuse, current use of psychiatric medications, and non-residence in the city of Ahvaz

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Core self-evaluations of women with a history of suicide attempts. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at two time points: pre-test (before the intervention) and post-test (after completion of the 8 therapy sessions). Method of measurement: By using the standardized Core Self-Evaluations Questionnaire.;Sense of coherence in women with a history of suicide attempts. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at two time points: pre-test and post-test. Method of measurement: By using the standardized Sense of Coherence Questionnaire.;Hope in women with a history of suicide attempts. Timepoint: This variable will be measured at two time points: pre-test and post-test. Method of measurement: By using the standardized Snyder Hope Questionnaire.

Additional analysis of changes in core self-evaluations scores in women with a history of suicide attempts. Timepoint: This outcome will be measured at the same time points as the primary outcomes, including pre-test and post-test. Method of measurement: Measurement will be performed using the standardized Core Self-Evaluations Questionnaire through analysis of score changes.;Additional analysis of changes in sense of coherence scores in women with a history of suicide attempts. Timepoint: This outcome will be measured at pre-test and post-test concurrently with the primary outcomes. Method of measurement: Measurement will be conducted using the standardized Sense of Coherence Questionnaire through total score analysis.;Additional analysis of changes in hope scores in women with a history of suicide attempts. Timepoint: This outcome will be measured at pre-test and post-test at the same time as the primary outcomes. Method of measurement: Measurement will be performed using the standardized Snyder Hope Questionnaire through analysis of score changes.
