Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Urban taxi drivers must be between 20 and 50 years old and have at least two years of work experience. Participants must not have any dependency on narcotics or any substances that affect the nervous, psychological, or emotional systems. Participants must be in good physical and mental health (i.e., free from cardiovascular diseases, physical illnesses, psychiatric disorders, malignant tumors, or other serious medical conditions). All participants must be right-handed.4.1-mini Only male taxi drivers will be included in this study (the number of female drivers in the population is very limited).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age outside the range of 20 to 50 years Work experience less than 2 years Dependence on narcotics or psychoactive substances Active cardiovascular diseases Diagnosed psychiatric disorders Presence of malignant tumors or serious physical illnesses History of significant head injury Diagnosis of epilepsy History of surgery in head-related areas Inability or unwillingness to cooperate in the study Female drivers (due to limited sample size)

"Number of Omission Errors in the Go/No-Go Cognitive Task" This variable represents the total number of omission errors committed by participants during the computerized Go/No-Go cognitive task. Omission error occurs when a participant fails to respond to a target stimulus (green rectangle) by not pressing the corresponding response key. This variable reflects deficits in response accuracy to target stimuli and is automatically recorded by the task software. Timepoint: Omission errors in the Go/No-Go task were recorded at two time points: before any intervention (phase two of the study) and immediately after the completion of the intervention sessions (phase three at the end of the tenth session). Method of measurement: Omission errors were measured using the computerized Go/No-Go cognitive task. In this task, participants are required to respond to target stimuli, and failure to respond to green stimuli is recorded as omission errors. The task software automatically calculates the number of omission errors.;"Number of Commission Errors in the Go/No-Go Cognitive Task" This variable measures the total number of commission errors made by participants during the computerized Go/No-Go cognitive task. Commission error is defined as an incorrect response to a non-target stimulus (red rectangle) when the participant presses the response key. This variable indicates deficits in inhibitory control and is automatically counted by the task software. Timepoint: Commission errors in the Go/No-Go task were measured at two time points: before the intervention (phase two) and immediately after completing the 10-session brain electrical stimulation (phase three). Method of measurement: Commission errors were assessed by the computerized Go/No-Go cognitive task. Timepoint: Measured at baseline (before intervention), immediately after initial evaluation phase, and following transcranial direct current stimulation intervention at one month and three months post-intervention. Method of measurement: Measured using a standard multi-electrode Electroencephalography (EEG) recording device in various brain regions.;"Side Effects of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation" Incidence and types of possible side effects caused by transcranial direct current stimulation in taxi drivers. Timepoint: Measured after each intervention session and at the end of the intervention period (one month and three months post-intervention). Method of measurement: Measured using a comfort rating questionnaire and self-reported side effect logs by participants.;"Changes in Cognitive Failures Questionnaire Scores Over Time" Mean changes in the Cognitive Failures Questionnaire scores, including memory problems, distractibility, and minor mistakes dimensions, in taxi drivers with cognitive failures.
