Depression. Major depressive disorder, single episode, mild

Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: 10 mg of escitalopram daily + 500 mg of Dried Leaves of Thymus daenensis Celak twice a day for one month. Intervention 2: Control group: 10 mg of escitalopram daily

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Having Depression Mild to Moderate Depression Severity

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Breastfeeding Presence of Thyroid Disorders

MeasureTime frame
Depression severity. Timepoint: Before and immediately after the intervention. Method of measurement: In this study, the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS) and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) will be used.
