Inclusion criteria: Age range 20 to 45 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Endocrine disorders Autoimmune diseases Antisperm antibodies Obstructive and non-obstructive azoospermia Severe varicocele Cystic fibrosis Testicular cancers Use of antioxidant compounds or vitamins in the 8 weeks prior to study entry History of infertility treatment in the 8 weeks prior to study entry

Sperm parameters. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 3 months after starting L-carnitine. Method of measurement: Sperm analysis using phase contrast microscopy.;The Sperm DNA Fragmentation. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 3 months after starting L-carnitine. Method of measurement: Sperm DNA Fragmentation Assay (SDFA).
