18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with stage II, I, or III breast cancer Receive at least one course of chemotherapy Age 18 to 70 years No cognitive problems at the beginning of the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of allergy to memantine Having cancer other than breast cancer Alcohol or drug use Advanced stages of breast cancer (stage IV – metastatic) If the patient is taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, anti-seizure medications, or sedatives, the patient will be excluded from the study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The frequency of people with cognitive impairment caused by chemotherapy. Timepoint: Assessment of cognitive impairment at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 3 and 6 months after chemotherapy. Method of measurement: Cognitive disorders related questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reducing the rate of cognitive impairment caused by chemotherapy. Timepoint: After 3 and 6 months from the start of chemotherapy. Method of measurement: Cognitive disorders related questionnaire.
