Intervention 1: Intervention group: Patients will receive a multimodal electronic education program consisting of one QR-code-accessible interactive e-book, an asynchronous online Q&A community with a
a printed copy is also provided. The online Q&A channel (via a widely used messaging platform) allows patients to submit questions anytime

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of acute hip fracture confirmed by radiography and requiring surgical intervention Admission to the surgical or orthopedic ward of Sina Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences Age 18 years or older Alert and cognitively intact Ownership of a personal smartphone with internet connectivity and the ability to scan a QR code and navigate basic digital documents independently Willingness to participate and provision of written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe pre-existing non-ambulatory status defined as complete bedridden state prior to the fracture or severe neurological or psychiatric disorders that hinder communication Lack of a reliable contact number or stated inability to participate in the scheduled telephone follow-ups Concurrent participation in another similar educational program Caregiver uncooperativeness
