Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Ability to communicate in Persian 2. No cognitive problems 3. Minimum literacy 4. Patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver 5. Failure to participate in educational classes related to the prevention of non-alcoholic fatty liver 6. Willingness to participate in educational sessions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Unwillingness to participate in the study 2. Having a history of chronic liver diseases such as viral or drug-induced hepatitis 3. Confirmed Wilson's disease and primary hemochromatosis 4. Having hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism 5. Bile duct cancer, diabetes 6. Cushing's syndrome, Addison's syndrome and chronic infections such as tuberculosis, use of liver drugs in the past 6 months 7. The occurrence of gallstones in the gallbladder and having other diseases including autoimmune-malignancies and other endocrine diseases 8. Use of drugs that affect liver enzyme levels, use of antioxidant supplements, pregnancy and lactation, alcohol consumption during the study, pregnancy or menopause during the study 9. Exposure to petrochemicals, alcohol consumption, substance abuse and genetic diseases related to lipid disorders
