Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age more than 65 years old Intertrochanteric fracture Ban on spinal anesthesia based on the opinion of a respected anesthesiologist
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Ban on general anesthesia Subtrochanteric fracture Very complex intertrochanteric fracture Anatomical deformity of the protrochanteric region Simultaneous fracture in the pelvis or lower limb Suspected allergy to dexmedetomidine or ropivacaine Lack of informed consent
