Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The subjects are overweight/obese men who do not engage in regular exercise. Subjects should not have taken any supplements or their precursors for at least two months prior to the study. The subjects should not have any specific symptoms of disease such as: respiratory, cardiovascular or blood pressure, renal, or orthopedic diseases. Their body mass index is greater than 25 and less than 35 kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of medications and sports supplements at the time of study entry. Having obvious physical and mental problems. Having any musculoskeletal diseases.

MicroRNA-146a. Timepoint: Measurements are taken prior to the commencement of the intervention and again 24 hours following its conclusion. Method of measurement: The quantification of miRNA-146a is conducted utilizing specialized kits in conjunction with a RT-PCR apparatus.;MicroRNA-223.
