Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: atherosclerotic coronary artery disease TyG index greater than 8.44 Stable clinical condition At least three months since diagnosis
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Type I or II Diabetes or Prediabetes Heart failure with preserved or reduced EF Atrial or Ventricular Arrhythmia Pulmonary hypertension Familial hypertriglyceridemia Contraindications to taking the drug (including history of ketoacidosis, malignancy, renal or hepatic failure, osteoporosis, vasovagal syncope, seizures, hypoglycemia, genitourinary tract disease, significant pulmonary disease, recurrent UTI, urosepsis, significant peripheral vascular disease) Pregnancy, breastfeeding or intending to get pregnant bariatric surgery or malabsorption disorder Use of SGLT2 inh drugs within the last three months or allergy to these drugs BMI greater than 45 kg/m2 Use of TG-lowering drugs (fibrates, niacin), corticosteroids, hypoglycemic drugs, antipsychotic drugs, MAO, lithium, androgens Chronic alcohol consumption Anemia (Hemoglobulin level less than 9 mg/dl)
