Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients who had a mandibular molar with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis no apical radiolucency on radiographs A healthy patient (ASA I)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Taking analgesics, anti-anxiety drugs, and corticosteroids Pregnancy Allergy to anesthetic drugs or any prohibition for injection of lidocaine containing epinephrine Drug addiction

Timepoint: During treatment if pain occurs.
