Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Female Age of the participant: 40 to 60 years At least one year since the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes (based on medical records) Consent to participate in the educational-treatment program Informed consent to participate in the research, Education: At least literacy No use of other psychological services simultaneously or in the past 6 months No severe neurological diseases such as psychosis based on a physician's diagnosis Physical ability to participate in the research
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: More than 2 absences in treatment sessions Lack of willingness to continue treatment sessions

| Fasting blood sugar. Timepoint: Two months. Method of measurement: In this study, fasting blood sugar tests were used. The fasting blood sugar test was conducted by a nurse using 5 cc of the individual’s venous blood after fasting for 12 to 14 hours, reported in milligrams per deciliter.;Bs2hpp. Timepoint: Two months. Method of measurement: In this study, Bs2hpp tests were used. The Bs2hpp tests was conducted by a nurse using 5 cc of the individual’s venous blood after fasting for 12 to 14 hours, reported in milligrams per deciliter.;Hemoglobin A1c. Timepoint: Two months. Method of measurement: In this study, hemoglobin A1c tests were used. The hemoglobin A1c test is the best tool for assessing long-term blood sugar levels over the past 2 to 3 months. For sampling blood to measure glycosylated hemoglobin levels, the nurse collected blood samples from patients, and the samples were preserved and coded in special test tubes.;Dialectical behavior therapy has a significant effect on fasting blood sugar in women with type 2 diabetes (P 0.05). Timepoint: Two months. Method of measurement: In this study, fasting blood sugar tests, Bs2hpp tests, and hemoglobin A1c tests were used.
