Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with keloid scars visiting Amir al-Muminin Hospital, Shiraz, Iran Consent of the patient or the patient's legal guardian to participate in the study Patients who have keloids in two areas of the body, and these two areas are distant from each other.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and breastfeeding women Patients with connective tissue diseases such as lupus and scleroderma Patients with vasculitis Presence of a pacemaker at the radiotherapy site Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to radiotherapy

Keloid scar recurrence rate. Timepoint: Patients are examined before the intervention, one day after the intervention, and every month for 6 months after the start of the study. Method of measurement: The POSAS (The Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale) is a comprehensive tool used to evaluate scar quality from both the patient's and the observer's perspectives. It consists of two parts: the Patient Scale, which assesses the patient's subjective experience of the scar, including pain, itching, and overall appearance, and the Observer Scale, which evaluates objective characteristics such as pigmentation, thickness, and pliability. Each scale provides a score, and the combined results offer a detailed assessment of the scar's impact and quality. POSAS is widely used in clinical and research settings for all types of scars, including those caused by burns, surgery, or trauma, making it a reliable and versatile instrument for scar evaluation.;Keloid scar recurrence time.
