Intervention 1: Intervention group: Empagliflozin 10 mg oral tablet (produced by Abidi Pharmaceutical Company, Iran), administered once daily starting 48 hours before CABG surgery and continued for 48

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18–70 years Patients with type 2 diabetes receiving SGLT2 inhibitors Elective candidates for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Left ventricular dysfunction. Left atrial enlargement Chronic kidney disease with GFR 30.
