Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with a confirmed diagnosis of cystic fibrosis who are in the mixed dentition phase (ages 6 to 12 years). Patients with a moderate degree of cystic fibrosis severity, as determined by a specialist and based on spirometric criteria. Without any mental issues or coexisting metabolic and endocrine disorders. Not suffering from xerostomia They have not used any oral and dental antimicrobial products in the past six months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who alter their antibiotic regimen during the follow-up period of the study. Children who contract bacterial or viral infectious diseases during the follow-up session. Children who, according to parental reports and reminder logs, did not exhibit the necessary cooperation during the follow-up period.

Design outcomes

Primary

Timepoint: 1 month. Method of measurement: Absence of plaque in the gingival area -----0. A layer of plaque adhering to the free margin of the gingiva and the area adjacent to the tooth. Plaque can only be detected by running a probe over the tooth surface --------1. Moderate accumulation of soft deposits within the gingival pocket, on the gingival margin and/or the surface of the adjacent tooth, visible to the naked eye------2.
