Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: atients diagnosed as having chronic otitis media without cholesteatoma that were referred to Loghman Hakim hospital were included from march 2025 to march 2026

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: cholesteatoma otitis media-related complications affecting hearing history of recent usage of ototoxic medications any types of previous otologic surgeries history of Menier's disease any kind of systemic disease including psychological disorders being exposed to intense noise
