Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient should have a confirmed diagnosis of schizophrenia by a specialist. 2. The caregiver must be a family member and the primary caregiver of the patient. 3. At least six months of caregiving for the patient. 4. Having at least basic literacy skills in reading and writing. 5. Informed consent and willingness to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any mental illness in the caregiver. 2. More than one person with a psychiatric diagnosis in the family. 3. Substance abuse in the caregiver or patient. 4. Not participating in more than two sessions. 5. Lack of willingness to continue cooperation.

MeasureTime frame
"medication adherence". Timepoint: Medication adherence is measured before the start of training (first day) and one month after the end of the course (100 days later). Method of measurement: The MARS questionnaire (Medication Adherence Rating Scale) is used to measure this variable.;"family caregiving burden".
