Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients between 18 and 65 years of age with indications for bariatric surgery according to the international guidelines BMI =30 kg/m2 and associated comorbidities BMI =40 kg/m2 with or without associated comorbidities who were candidates for sleeve surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have clinical symptoms of reflux before surgery In endoscopy before surgery, they have related disorders such as medium to large hiatal hernia or esophagitis

| Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Timepoint: 6 and 12 months after the intervention. Method of measurement: All patients will be referred to the gastroenterology department six months and one year after surgery, and upper endoscopy will be performed under general anesthesia by a gastroenterologist. Finally, the findings obtained in the two groups will be compared with each other. Also, the GERD-Q questionnaire will be completed by phone for all patients in the next 6 months and 12 months. | — |
