Conditions

Condition 1: Dislocations, strains, and sprains of knee and lower limb ligaments. Condition 2: Foot and ankle injuries. Condition 3: Hip and groin injuries. Superficial injury of knee and lower leg Superficial injury of ankle, foot and toes Superficial injury of hip and thigh

Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: They will perform the Funball training protocol twice a week for 24 weeks. Intervention 2: Control group: They will not use any organized warm-up program.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male soccer players between the ages of 16 and 22 At least three years of experience in organized football No history of surgery or serious musculoskeletal injuries in the last 12 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Male soccer players who are under 16 years of age Male football players who have less than 3 years of experience in football History of surgery and musculoskeletal injuries in the last 12 months

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence rates of lower extremity injuries, including knee, ankle, and hamstring injuries. Timepoint: During a season. Method of measurement: The incidence of injuries will be recorded using standard forms designed by Fuller et al. (2006).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Functional Movement Screen. Landing Error Scoring System. Tuck jump. Timepoint: In the pre-test at the beginning of the semester and the post-test at the end of the semester. Method of measurement: A functional screening test and landing error scoring system will be performed using existing kits. A video camera and stopwatch are also required to perform the tests.;Triple Hop Test. Figure 8 Test. Arrow Agility Test. Shuttle Dribble Test. Timepoint: In the pre-test at the beginning of the semester and the post-test at the end of the semester. Method of measurement: To perform the tests, we need equipment such as a tape measure, cones and obstacles, a stopwatch, and a soccer ball.
